OMNI Energy Services Corp., an integrated oilfield service company, provides a range of services to companies operating in the Gulf of Mexico, the Rocky Mountain region, and the prolific shale regions in the south central United States and the Appalachian Region. It operates in three segments: Seismic Services, Environmental and Other Services, and Equipment Leasing. The Seismic Services segment provides seismic drilling support services in the marsh, swamp, shallow water and contiguous dry land areas primarily in Louisiana and Texas. This segment also owns and operates a fleet of specialized seismic drilling and transportation equipment for use in the transition zone. The Environmental and Other Services segment offers specialized environmental cleaning and maintenance equipment and trained personnel to oil and gas companies. Its services include dock-side and offshore hazardous and non-hazardous oilfield waste management and environmental cleaning services, including drilling rig, tank and vessel cleaning, safe vessel entry, naturally occurring radioactive material (NORM) decontamination and surveys, platform abandonment services, pipeline flushing, gas dehydration, hydro blasting, and offshore sandblasting and painting. The Equipment Leasing segment offers rental equipment and specialized environmental services principally to drilling contractors. This segment has a fleet of rental equipment, including pressure washers, steam cleaners, oilfield cooling fans, frac tanks, gas buster tanks, generators, lighting systems, roll-off containers, and industrial forklifts and manlifts. The company was founded in 1987 and is headquartered in Carencro, Louisiana.
