Global ePoint, Inc. and its subsidiaries provide digital video surveillance products, information technology network, and computing solutions in the United States and internationally. It operates through three divisions: Digital Technology, Aviation, and Contract Manufacturing. The Digital Technology division focuses on the development of digital products and technologies for law enforcement, commercial, and industrial markets to provide digital security products for fixed and mobile surveillance applications. This division develops and markets fixed and mobile digital video surveillance products and solutions; personal computer-based and embedded digital video recorder systems, including point-of-sale DVR and ATM DVR for the retail and banking industries; and sequent mobile line products that provide security video, audio, and data transmission systems, and indexing and archiving systems. The Aviation division provides digital technology and other electrical applications to the airline industry. This division serves domestic and international carriers, as well as original equipment manufacturers. This segment s products include cockpit door surveillance systems, electronic flight bags, and wire and cable harness assemblies; seat actuation systems; portable passenger entertainment appliances; smoke detection and fire suppression systems; avionics upgrades of cockpits and systems; noise reduction modification kits; overhead bin systems; and interior retrofits, including repair/modification/upgrade/overhaul of aircraft interior components. The Contract Manufacturing division designs, manufactures, and sells industrial computers and consumer computers, such as video gaming personal computers and basic level computers for various security and other applications. Global ePoint, Inc. was formerly known as On-Point Technology Systems Inc. The company was founded in 2002 and is based in City of Industry, California.
