Sino Gas International Holdings, Inc., through its subsidiaries, is engaged in the development and installation of natural gas distribution systems; and distribution of natural gas to residential and industrial customers in China. The company is involved in the development and construction of local gas distribution networks, transport of natural gas from suppliers to its storage facilities, and operating and maintaining gas distribution networks. It owns and operates natural gas distribution systems in 36 small and medium size cities, and serves approximately 366,640 residential and 12 industrial customers. As of December 31, 2013, the company had approximately 2,372 kilometers of pipeline and delivery networks with a daily distribution capacity of approximately 236,000 cubic meters of natural gas. It serves residential owners, property developers, government departments and organizations, private companies and state-owned enterprises, manufacturers, owners of hotels, restaurants, office buildings, shopping centers, hospitals, educational establishments, sports and leisure facilities, and exhibition halls. The company was formerly known as Dolce Ventures, Inc. and changed its name to Sino Gas International Holdings, Inc. in May 2002. Sino Gas International Holdings, Inc. was incorporated in 1983 and is headquartered in Beijing, China.
